A retirement card featuring three fishermen on the River Ganges at Varanasi with a speech bubble and one saying ‘Enjoy Your Retirement’.
Their fishing nets are visible in boat and the far bank of the Ganges is visible in the distance. The scene is at Varanasi in India, where the river is wide and broad. Back hundreds of miles up the river are Gangotri and Yamunotri, the twin sources of high in the ice encrusted Himalayas. The river from Yamunotri sweeps down past Delhi and onwards east to Varanasi and beyond.
