Description

Morning Glory poster with flowers in red and blue, from an illustration in 1827 by Pierre-Joseph Redouté. Morning Glory flowers open and flower in the morning, hence the name. And they flower from spring right the way through to September. Apart from their flowers, they are attractive for the way they grow. They wind in and out and curl around the branches of shrubs they use for support as they grow. As an added bonus or concern, they contain psychotropic elements.

This poster is from the work of Redouté, who was a Belgian painter and botanist, famous for his watercolour paintings of flowers.
