A Leaving card featuring an Italian hunting dog, the Spinone, and text ‘Sorry You’re Leaving’
The Spinone is at Italian breed from the Piedmont region. It can trace its history to the time of the Roman Empire and despite almost becoming extinct during World War II, it is popular today as a hunting dog for close cover and water, and as a pet.
In some areas of Italy the breed was known as the Spinoso. That name is very close to Spinoza, the famous Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza.
