This privacy policy explains how we collect and process your personal data, including any information you provide when you buy products, ask a question. or sign up to our newsletter.

When you buy goods on this site you promise you are of legal age and able to enter into a contract to buy the goods. You warrant also that you understand your rights and the limitations as set out in our returns policy as it applies to our products.

When you set up an account on this site or when you use guest checkout if available, you will not be anonymous to us and we will store your information to enable us to deliver your orders and so that you can track your orders.

The information we store is the Personal data you give us, including your name, email address, and physical address.

Card payments are dealt with by our card payment processor, and all data is secured by anonymised tokens that are sent directly to our card payment processor. We do not collect or store financial information.

Usage Data may include information about how you use our website, products and services. Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing communications from us.

Google analytics and MailChimp (our newsletter provider) are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA) so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the EEA.

We use these companies because their codes of conduct or certification mechanisms are part of the EU-US Privacy Shield which requires them to provide similar protection to personal data shared between the Europe and the US.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. We limit access to your personal data to those who need to know such data and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

We are payment card industry (PCI) compliant and we have our site scanned by Security Metrics to check that it cannot be penetrated.

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data. These include the right to request access to your personal data, request correction of your personal data, request erasure of your personal data, object to processing of your personal data, request restriction of processing your personal data, request transfer of your personal data, or withdraw consent.

Such requests do not incur a fee but we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

If you have concerns over any aspect of how we collect and use your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues. However, please contact us first if you do have a complaint so that we can try to resolve any issues for you.

We will not disclose your details to any third party without your prior consent, unless we have to comply with laws or legal proceedings, or to protect the rights, property, or the safety of ourselves or others, including disclosure in connection with fraud protection and credit risk reduction or in connection with the sale of the business or assets or purchases of another business.
